Sierra Skye Gemma is a writer and journalist living in Vancouver. She has been published in The Globe and Mail, The New Quarterly, The Vancouver Sun, The Vancouver Observer, WestCoast Families, Plenitude, Rhubarb, and in the Best Canadian Essays 2013 anthology. Sierra’s work has won the Edna Staebler Personal Essay Contest, a National Magazine Award for Best New Magazine Writer, and a National Newspaper Award in Long Feature.
