Selin Berktas arrived in Canada from Azerbaijan in 2021. She is a writer, radio producer, and researcher focusing on migrant justice, borders, and postcolonial literature from the Caucasus. She holds a BA in English Literature from the University of British Columbia and is currently working on her first novel.
