Nara Monteiro is a Brazilian-Canadian editor, writer, and nerd based in Tkaronto. They are an editor at Room, a managing editor at Augur magazine, and the editorial coordinator at TouchWood Editions. Nara has a Master of Publishing from Simon Fraser University, where they wrote their thesis on the impact and survival of feminist literary magazines in Canada while serving as Room’s publisher. After hours, they like to disappear into the woods with an armful of books.
