Anna Shah Hoque is a diasporic South Asian-Persian curator, SSHRC doctoral candidate, and adjunct professor at Concordia University and McGill University. She is based in Tiohtiá:ke|Montreal. Her research examines the relationship between contemporary visual arts and archive-making among Indigenous and South Asian artists and curators in “Canada.” She has contributed to publications such as Esse and the Canadian Journal of Communication, with forthcoming publications in C Magazine, Journal of Palestine Studies, and Amherst College Press.
