so she bought him more

equated: 1 + (1 + 1 - 1) = 2

the young woman snared
an older woman’s long-time lover

the jilted woman chided
we’re the same, just different seasons

augmented: 1 + 1 > 2

she said I love you even
with your string tie

he said I love you even
though you don’t like my string tie
